Paint with Your Emotions - June 21

There are many ways that humans intuitively express their emotions. Some examples are through dance, speaking, writing, music, and art. Sometimes we use these methods for our-eyes-only and sometimes we share our expressions with others using these methods of communication.

When we use art to express our emotions, we get to throw the rules away! Art provides a safe space to become curious and create from a place of uncertainty. When you start without knowing what's coming to the paper, emotions percolate without judgement. This is the intuitive process of creating art - going into the messy to create beauty. Exploring through art-making gives you permission to let emotions percolate. It is through this process and the artwork produced that we can then step back to find clarity - turning emotions into wisdom.

When we get curious and "sit in the feels of emotions", transfer this into the physical reality (artwork), we are then able to create more possibilities. Possibilities allow you to choose how you show up and open doors to where you go.

ART is a effective way of expressing your emotions in a non-judgemental way.

What to expect:

• introduction of what and how to paint your emotions
• guided painting
• sharing, which helps you shift as well as the group (you can share as much or as little as you like)
• using movement and breath we conclude the class

This class is about connecting to your creativity and expressing yourself through painting. As we do this we express our emotion through the language of art. We are taking ourselves out of victim mentality and into creative mentality. This has us thriving instead of surviving.

You will be guided through an intuitive art exercise that will allow you to be in touch with your intuition.

All supplies will be provided and there is no experience necessary. Wear clothes that can get paint on them.
